Hello everybody,

I hope you all enjoyed the first episode, cause it made me cringe a bit. Simply, because it was the worst 5 seconds out of the hours filmed that was chosen to make the first episode. Hopefully you guys will get to know me better as the season continues. You will get to realize that I’m quite idiosyncratic and strange and not nearly as boring as the first episode portrayed. Now to get to go what did see in this first episode starting with my party...

This party was held over December break. Everyone was away and I decided to have a party because, breaks in the city can feel simply put, dragged out. Now, usually, everywhere I go is a pretty fun party but this one pretty much sucked. Since so many people were away it was quite boring. So, when Camille said, “How did you get forced into being here?” there should have been a moment when I should have felt enraged, but there wasn’t. I was actually thinking the same thing myself, but more like, “How can I escape?”

Mixing my friends from private and public school wasn’t even the issue here. I love my friends from public school and I love my friends from private school. Each and every one of them are different and some of my public school friends actually have more money that some of my friends from private school. I think the real difference between my private and public school friends are that my public school friends tend to be less naïve. And actually are more independent. They rely less on connections to get places they want to go.

In this first episode PC mentions how the city is all about connections and I guess this just proves the point about how the city is different for everyone. Some people meet people for the connections, others meet people to expand their horizons. Every person living in the city has a different life and that’s the wonderful thing about the Big Apple. You can make so much out of every experience here and the experiences tend to be so grand you could never imagine how amazing life here is until you’ve lived it.

Out of all the people on the show, I feel like I could relate to you most. (And I'm thinking that's how most viewers felt as well.) You seem like a really cool/chill chick, and I just wanted to say that I wish the best for you in life. :)

Hi Taylor your my favorite girl on theshow by the way I know your brother he use to go to my school. You seem like the only person who isn't fake. Also PC seems really into you so there might me conflict with Cole and PC. Anyway I love dance and I live in NYC too I go to alivin ailiey it's a really serious dance school but I love it at time it's really overwhelming to do so many hour of dance and then do homework. Sometimes it semms as if I ant do it anymore bit I can and my love for it always motivates me ;)
Keep up the good work,

Taylor u are super cute!!! I think ur too good for that French guy on the show. Cole looks like a very sweet guy. Well, ur the best, but I really don't like how u talk about who has more money. Surround yourself w/the people u love, not who has more money!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi taylor!!

I really like you the best off of everyone on NYC Prep!! You seem like a great person and you are very down to earth!!! But make sure you keep it that way!!!! BTW Don't worry about Sebastian. He seems like a real player and you don't really need that. I think you should get back with Cole. He seems super sweet and WAYYYY cute!!! Talk to you later!

Don't worry, Taylor....you do not seem boring AT ALL! In fact, I think you have a quirky, sweet, down-to-earth quality about you that makes viewers just adore you.

I really respect your values as compared to some of the other characters on the show. Just be careful about the decisions you make to "climb the social ladder"...there are much more important things, like being with the guy that truly makes you happy!

Keep it real, girl, you rock!

You seem like a really good person. After watching the show, i thought you seemed the most genuine, and the nicest out of everyone. You seem like you like to have fun, and that's great! You are definately my favorite. Cole seems to really care about you, I think you should go back out with him! He seems like the type that would always be there and care about you forever. :) I know what how you feel about how you love living in the city. I live out in the country, and hoping to start fresh in the city someday! :]
Good luck with the guys, the drama that might come up, and just life in general.
I know you will do great!

Taylor,

You are definitely one of my favorite's character on the show, so down to earth. Kinda remind me of myself. I just want you to know that to stay true to yourself, never give in to pressure. There's so much more to things than money and social status. Remember money can't buy happiness. Oh, and a other thing, I think you should listen to your mom ( this is coming from a fifteen year old girl btw.), no matter if your mom has a boyfriend, no boyfriend, or divorced, she still has more experiences than you and is only looking out for your best interest. Plus, i think you should be happy that you ACTUALLY have a mother who is There for you unlike some of the people from the show. So please be wise about how you talk about your mom on the show.

P.s. Be careful of that Sebastian guy, he's honestly up to no good.

XOXO, much care.

I absolutly lve the vintage store you went so in the secon episode, i have been therebefore and nothinf looks trashy. And i would have totally friked out if i saw amanda b. at mercedes-benz fashion week. I think me and you would make great friends. if i ever see you walking around NY im so going to say hey, but im only up there over summer because i stay there with my cusin.

Being the only person on the show to come from a public school & the show being names "NYC Prep" I am surprised with Bravo. I am happy they put someone that wasn't in the "circle" of popularity, money & connections. I thought it was RIDICULOUS when you were questioned by Camille & Kelli about your dinner date. They seem like they are just jealous of your connection with him. I know that you know how then ended up & I hope that you show the "private school girls" that you don't need money & connections to become known in the city, even with boys.

Taylor, you are my favorite on the show. You are so sweet and honest. What is with the girl named Jessie? She is jealous of every girl that comes along and is so immature. Poor girl...she needs help. Where is her mother to help her out?

you don't act like spending hundreds of dollars on a simple dress is ok, you don't try to act like your better than anyone, you get shy around a guy and you dislike talking to your mom about things. of all of the girls on the show you seem to be more of the real every-day girl, more like someone id actually hang out with. though i will say you concentrate on being "cool/popular" a little too much, just be yourself.

While I dont have good things to say about the show as a whole, from what I saw you seem the most genuine and level-headed out of the bunch,so kuddos to you and I hope you stay that way!

To your castmates though.. They all have the egos and irrogance of NYC combined, and quite frankly NONE of them are attractive to be bragging about! While this kind of shows are entertaining, it only is because it is ammusing to watch teenagers make fools of themselves on tv. Neither them or their parents should ever be proud of their actions and attitudes, more or less think its a good idea to make obscene behavior public..so to the rest of your castmates loose the attitude and ego cuz your ugly as hell and fyi your not "wealthy" or rich, your parents are..so enjoy it while it lasts because it doesnt look like you have anything else going for you

But love you taylor! sorry i had to put all that on yours, it was just easier to put it all in one. Good luck in high school sweetie!

Hey! I honestly think your a really cool girl. I live in California in the OC and I understand where you are coming from because a lot of people act like that around here. It is nothing really. It's no big deal and I find it funny when people who live in like the MidWest freak out and are like super jealous. It just normal lifestyle. Anyways can't wait to keep watching you

Hi Taylor,

You seem to have a better handle on what real life is all about while the rest of the cast is living on fantasy island and clueless about what it would be like to live without their Daddy's money. Stay on the path you're on and stay away from that egotistical hair flipper..lol. Walk and hold your head high and don't follow the crowd. These people are lost and don't even know it...don't get lost with them. Be your own person, follow your own beat and don't be so flattered by a guy who looks at girls as conquests, you're worth much more than that girlfriend. You are just as pretty, smart and important as anyone on this show and in life...so don't act like you are less than them by fawning all over them because you are not less in any sense. Be proud of who you are. So...they have more money...what does that mean? That doesn't make them better or even more desireable to be around. Be proud of you and your family and don't feel that you have to hide the fact that you can't spend 500 bucks a day on whatever. There is no shame in that...so don't allow anyone to make you feel like there is shame in it...or that you're less valuable because of it. No one can make you feel something unless you allow it.
Keep up the good work girl.

I watched the first episode, and you seemed the nicest and most down to earth of the bunch. I just wanted to say, I think an important thing about high school is finding yourself and figuring out who you are. In my opinion, that means taking some time to not really care what others think, especially if you don't feel comfortable with those people. Stay true yourself, and figure out who your real friends are. It may be a TV show for us, but the things you do shape your real life for you. Best of luck in it.

Heyy Taylor!

First of all i wanted to say that your my favorite on the show. When i saw the first episode and when i saw those other girls i cant even see how you can be around them. Im from the south (AL) and the girls here dont act as bad behavior and bitchy as them. This season dont put up with any crap they give you and if u like Sabastian then go for him!!!

Taylor,
You are my favorite person on this show. You seem to be really down-to-earth, and have seen both sides of public and private schools. The other people on this show are to put it honestly, very egotistical and materialistic. All they care about is "connections", like all there is to life is using people to get ahead. I am sure they have never worked an honest day in their lives. It is nice to know someone on this show is on planet Earth.

Hey Taylor I live in the city as well and agree with you completely. It is the type of place where teens are forced to make decisions that could give them a certain reputation. I'm interested in ur thoughts on the uptown schools vs. the downtown school. (private and public) The dynamics are very different in my mind. It manifests itself in a very interesting way...I would love to hear your thoughts!

Taylor,
you are by far my favorite on this show. everyone else seems to be so materialistic and all about parties and blowing cash. you should feel greatful your mother is the way she is, at least she is there. the other kids are much too young to be living on their own. you're right about you public school kids becoming more independent because the private school kids are not using their own money and they are always out and partying. i'd love to have a friend like you. Thank you Taylor! I am appalled at the whole "I go to parties to make connections" thing. How pathetic! Its nice you go to have fun and make friends! :) I live in NYC as well, and the whole social climbing thing is a little sad. Just work hard, keep the same friends you had your whole life on the way up! Then add new ones as your interests expand! THAT is a truly successful person! Your parents raised you well!

I think you are a sweetheart. It is nice to see that you are not bragging about everything that you have been blessed to receive. And although it seems your mom is constantly around and may even be annoying at time, just bear with it. It is better that she cares and is visibily concerned that you travel the right path. That is great. I am astonished that Kelli's parents can let their kids loose in a city as fast and vicious as New York, and visit once a week. Unbelievable.

Taylor, I've watched the first episode over and over again. I really enjoy your down-to- earth attitude. I think it's good that you threw a party even if it wasn't a success. Keli and Camille seem a little mopre materialisticl than you. I think it helps that you have public and private school friends in the mix. NYC Prep reminds me of the show Gossip Girl only this is real and happening.

Hey just wanted to say that you seem grounded and I hope you stay that way. Your also very cute and I hope you do not fawn over your friends from the upper class of soceiety in the city. Also your mother worries about you because she loves you so do not dismiss her questions. Being young in the city can be fun but it can also be dangerous so make sure you are always around friends when venturing out. Also embrace your mother and do not allow the city life to consume your time. I can see how many guys will be taken in by you since yoiu are very pretty and bright! Well love show and keep up the good work
