Love your character on the show. I have to say I read "The Power of Now" and didn't GET IT. I read the book "A New Earth" and got it BIG TIME!
What you put out there is what you get back, absolutely. Some things money can't buy and that's class. You've got it.
You could steer the show in a whole different direction now with all that knowledge....wouldn't be much of a Drama though would it?! HA HA HA HA.

I admire your Project Ladybug work and I hope, if you ever have the opportunity, that you might consider doing some benefit work for the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat in Wyckoff. My son is a resident there and the economy down-turn has been hard on the Retreat.
My son has Down Syndrome and is in one of the three group homes on the grounds of the Retreat. He is beautifully cared for, thank God.

I love the show. I'm sorry some of you had difficulties to arise out of it. Hopefully, your charity has benefitted from the publicity.

I must say that it was a joy for all of us to spend time with 'the Jersey Girls' each week. We feel like you're practically 'family'. We will be watching season two faithfully.

I think your family is wonderful! My husband is Italian, and when we married, I found the family to be very close and loving, which is what I saw on the show with your families (except Danielle!).
I am glad to hear you are in a good place now, because I could see how Danielle was trying to come between Jacqueline and you and Caroline. She is a manipulative person, and needs to realize that blood is thicker than water, and eventually Jacqueline would see the truth!

Dina, I really enjoyed the show, you were fabulous. Your family is great, a wonderful normal group of people bound by love. Even through all the ups and downs on the show yourself, Caroline, and Jacqueline along with your sweet children all showed your true colors and they shone through brightly, a very funny, genuine family. I'm going thru a rough patch right now physically with migraines and chronic pain and was able to escape on occasion with this show. Helped me refocus on what's important in my life: my family. Enjoy your daughter and every second with her. My boys are my life and will soon be leaving for college. I too, stopping working to focus on them before they go. I am not one to take sides when it i sbetween two people. But what I do is give the best advice that I can give. I want you to know that the most inportant thing is having Christ as our Lord and savior. When people are mean its not because they want to be that way, its that they are hurting.The best thing you can do for anybody is pray for them and move on with your life. I can just emagine that you wake up every moring thinking about this whole thing about the show and viewers what they are saying. All you can do is to wake up everyday and be blessed for were you are NOW. The best thing about your job is to see children that are hurting and that is awsome to know that. It will be great to see you in season 2 if you decide to tape, minus Danielle, she's a bit much even for reality TV, she needs to be on that show Intervention. Danielle has had much misfortune but needs to learn positive coping skills and how to have a healthy relationship. That she could learn from your family. Not so sure about Jacyln. She is described as having a big heart but she seems a little soft. She needs to put family first. Sorry.. it's true. I have never actually written in a blog for a reality show! However, I am on a business trip away from my family and I loaded all the episodes. I have to say NJ is the best yet! Dina, you are a great example to me at this moment in my life. I have been the target of drama by family and I truly had one of those moments where I saw myself in a light that I never want to be in again. This is my last business trip away from home, I have resigned and I was having regrets. After seeing the show and listening to the strugle with in us strong women who want it all and have the mentality to do it all we sometimes need to slow down.... You are a strong women and I am glad you are on TV for me to learn from.

In the episode where your daughter was going away, you handled yourself very well. I would know this because im 16 and when my mom leaves to go to iraq after her r and r's she always cries just for leaving me and my siblings. also you also handed yourself well at the dinner in front of your daughter and friends, because if that was me i would of did worse than teresa did lol.

My daughter and I were in the mall yesterday laughing like crazy as we tried on our designer shades. I asked her " Do these make me look like Dina? Am I looking Hollywood?" (Hell yeah) Your beautiful,, classy,,assertive,, so what if you were not perfect where Danielle was concerned.(We're human) She was "way out there". Reading way more into any given situation,, and it was CLEAR that she WANTED to talk about the book. HELLO,,If it had not been for that topic nobody would have gave a hoot about her. She should thank you (or Caroline) for her 15 extra min. Your attitude always stayed the same. You were cool as a cucumber. Take em' or leave em'. You didn't waste all your time crying and making drama. Beauty does not go to hell in a hand basket,, boo hoo hoo. It's NOT attractive. Your beautiful,,so were Teresa and Caroline. You Go Girls!! Dina I was just wondering when you stopped working if you are thinking about having a second child? If you have one, it would be about the same age difference as you and caroline right? I think I remember the age difference in years quoted several times on the show. What I want to say to you is unless you are thinking of having another one, please stay involved in some aspect of your career. I left a good job once when my son was 12, and have never recovered career wise or financially because of it. In retrospect, it was such a stupid decision on my part, but hindsight is 20/20. If you are planning another child, which I suspect you are, then I say you are doing the right thing, but jump back into it in a few years....congrats in advance

Since now you are not working anymore (I know you are still busy with your ladybug project), I think your next project should be concentrated on having another baby in your life. My husband and I got married in May of '08 and we were constantly watching The Wedding channel for months before.We saw yours and have both been to the Brownstone. When Housewives started he called me to the tv because he recognized you right away! Anyway, we loved the show, enjoyed watching it because everything took place in our back yard, practically! We really had fun with it. I wanted to tell you that I loved the scenes with you and Lexi. I loved the way you cook for her and interact. You are a wonderful mom. I loved seeing the bond that you and Caroline have too.You always conducted yourself like a genuine lady through all the drama. I admire your strength and wisdom. It's nice to see that you have taken the time to pause & reflect on that challenging energy that was brought into your life...just when you were ready to Exhale! Great that you put into practice the wonderful teachings of the Power of Now (I too have read it). As some of the others have noted, many of us have had our own troubled Danielle step into our lives bringing THEIR angst and confusion. Sadly it is often due to their severe brokenness that the "know not what they do." Whatever the case may be or the explanations for their mis-treatment of "us", we simply have to pray for them and liberate ourselves from living in the murky waters that is their world. That being said...

Miss Dina, your beauty is absolutely stunning (Whatever pounds you claim to have put on - look fabulous on you!) You are an adorable Mom; Lexi is so lucky to have such a tenderhearted and fun lady to call Mommy! And, best of all she not only knows it, she seems to appreciate you while being a teen (huge achievement!).

Any woman with a silver tip Persian and a beloved cat (Mrs. Wrinkles) with a face "only a Mama could love" is delightful in my book! I've got a pair myself that bring me so much joy everyday.

Having tragically lost my sister, my stealth defender, and my heart & soul suddenly and tragically 4 years ago, {she was only 26} I have to say, you are so blessed to enjoy such sisterly devotion, never let Caroline fahgettaboutit. When my Sister left to be with God, I found peace that she knew just how much she meant to me, how much I adored her.

I would just like to tell you how much I adore you! I watched you on Vh1 and I was obsessed with this season of Real Housewives. My friends call me Dina because they think I'm so much like you! I would just like to say people don't understand what its like to be on a reality show, especially this one. If you not from New jersey your deffiantely going to look at the show completely different. I'm from New Jersey so I understand exactly where everyone is coming from on the show. New Jersey people are one of a kind, but I felt you, Caroline, and Teresa were easy to relate to for everyone. People need to just get over their jealously. I hate Danielle, you should never befriend her. She doesn't deserve it, she's low class. I love Caroline too. You two are so funny, and remind me of me and my sister. Four of you NJ housewives are awesome. I am not much into reality shows, but certainly am waiting for season 2 of yours. Love the relationship you have with your family and Theresa. I wish you all the happiness in the world. Let me start by saying you & Caroline are awesome. Immediately noticing what kind of person Danielle was. I am the same way. Just watching the show I noticed I too felt the same way about her and that just what I got from watching the show. Even my fiancé (who never watches my "shows" with me) stopped watched about 10 minutes and was like that woman (Danielle) is fake and she just looks like she has skeletons in her closet. Watching the finally show and seeing the drama unfold was crazy I can’t believe she brought the book to a dinner. She has always had a way of changing the focus to her every time! I am glad you, Caroline & Teresa gave Danielle a piece of your mind. Good luck in everything and I hope to see another season

Thank you for your outlook on life- you are an inspiration. I have recently found myself in a twisted blackhole with people I work with who have found comfort in slandering my name, starting rumors about me and at the end of the day, rounding up others to join in on ignoring me. People who I thought were friends. I've been called every name in the book and accused of things so false and so hurtful, it's hard to imagine.

It soothes my heart to know there is a way to get past it- even if it faces you every day. I'm going to read The Power of Now in the hope that it will ease my mind and get me through this nightmare.
